Large and impressive stoneware vase, Stig Lindberg, Gustavsberg, 1967. Signed: Stig L "G with Studio Hand" (incised) Gustavsberg (impressed). Height 13.1 inches ( 33.3 cm), Width 5.0 inches (12.7 cm). Excellent condition. Subtle brown and tan, matte glaze over lower body which is decorated with impressed design of rectangles and ovals. The neck and shoulders with some red highlights and mottled brown/tan glazing. Elegant, tapered-bottle form. SOLD |
